VETERINARY USE
Bovicine Max. Ivermectin antiparasitic solution 3.15%. Long-Acting.
Indications
For the treatment and control of parasitosis in cattle and sheep, against gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasites, scabies, sucking lice, ura and myiasis.
Gastrointestinal parasites: Haemonchus sp., Ostertagia ostertagi, Ostertagia Iyrata, Trichostrongylus sp., Cooperatia onchophora; Cooperia punctata; Cooperia pectinata; Oesophagostomun radiatum; Strongyloides papillosus; Nematodirus Helvetianus; Nematodirus spathinger; Bunostomum phlebotomum; Toxocara vitulorum y Trichuris spp.
Lung parasites: Dictyocaulus viviparus, Dictyocaulus filarial.
Ectoparasites: Sarcoptes sp., Haematopinus sp., Dermatobia hominis, Boophilus microplus, Cochliomyia hominivorax, Linognatus vituli, Psoroptes spp. This is also indicates as auxiliary to control the horn-fly population (Haematobia irritans) and to prevent myasis in the just-born calves navels and in the castration wound.
Dosage
Cattle and sheep: 630 mcg/kg. Equivalent to 1 ml/50 kg of weight by subcutaneous route.
Adjust the dose to each animal weight to avoid overdoses.
Apply subcutaneously on the neck (injection triangle) using a needle and sterile equipment.

It´s recommended developing a strategic plan with veterinary advice, taking into account the category of animals, the parasite to be eliminated, the pasture background and the prevailing environmental conditions.
It is convenient to periodically perform coproparasitological controls.
Use restrictions
In cattle: Do not send the meet of treated animals for human consumption until after 122 consecutive days since the last application of the product. Do not administer to lactating animals.
Precautions
- It is suggested that doses higher than 10 ml should be divided and applied in two different points.
- Do not apply by any route other than subcutaneous.
- In case of accidental intravenous application, tremors, seizures and coma can appear. Symptomatic treatment should be prescribed. There is no specific antidote.
Warnings
- Keep the container in a cool place and protected from light in its original package.
- Free Ivermectine can contaminate waterways and affect fishes and other aquatic species.
- Avoid eye contact; in case this happens, wash with abundant water and consult a doctor.
- Keep away from the reach of children and domestic animals.
Store the product below 30 ºC.
